Our work higlights in domestic, commercial and smart installations.

+ Lighting

Here we have a number of properties we have added lighting to, or installed from scratch. Some of this lighting was done for extra effect, others for practicality and energy saving.

  • Smart System Panels

Our specist control systems are bespoke contructed for each client.

Here we have some photos of some our bespoke built loxone home control panels.

There is one that you will see has a 17th edition consumer unit attached directy and data ports for additional data connections at a later date.

You can also see the CAT7 cables (Green) that are installed to connect Tree and 24 volt power systems to the panel.

These panels need to be wired perfectly as you can see there are a number of circuits that need to be terminated into these panels so carful cable management needs to be considered for both maintainenece and future chages in system requirements.

If you have your own contractors but they are not up to date on Smart Automation then we could build and program an entire system send it to you directly and your contractor can simply connect it up as directed by our written instructions and if any issues arise we could remote connect and help diagnose the issues.

  • Commercial Installations

This installation was requested by an events agency who were setting up for an immersive veiwing for Tame My Dragon 3.

The clients requirements where calculated by us after getting and under standing of the types and size of loadings to be used for this installation.

The system was required to provide 175amps per phase peak current and had to facilitate many tap offs for master distribution equipment that was to be used by production.

The system is being fed by a 75mm 4 Core LSOH cable that is derived from a distribution caninet located remotly and that system is fed from a 400amp 3 phase supply.

Also due to the nature of the installation and being in an under ground theatre required a back up supply system this was done by deriving a second supply from another location in the builidng and feeding this through an inter changing supply unit witch automaticlly would switch from one supply to the alternative supply upon major power failure to the primary source.

The main distribution panel located in the theatre was an MEM 200amp 12 way 3 phase unit a memshild 3 witch has over sized MCB breakers and normal sized breakers for fixed loads.

The oultes provided where 3 x 16amp 230volt 3 pin outlets 3 x 32amp 230volt 3 pin outlets 3 x 32 amp 3 phase 400volt 5 pin outlets 3 x 63amp 3 phase 400volt 5 pin outlets

Additonally a 63amp 3 phase sub-main was derived and installed to the lower basment level.

Led Lighting installation to two Warehouses

Below are photos of a project we were engaged to do, this project was to replace the existing fluorescent lighting for High Bay UFO led lights.

We installed a total of 10 light fittings to each ware house that gave over 260klms over the entire ware house floor.

We also installed new distribution boards and sub mains from one ware house to another and installed sub main feeds to the storage and office containers outside.

We also installed LED lighting to the outside of the warehouses.

The lighting installed has reduced the cost of lighting the building by 80% and as reduced maintenance to near zero.

Torque was also asked to engage and manage contractors to carry out road repair drain maintenance and other construction works such as disconnecting water, data, and electrical supplies from the containers on another site.

This is a time lapse video taken of the team installing high bay 200watt 26000 lumen UFO lights in place of Fluorescent lighting

A commercial office fit out we carried out for CEED uk (pi Top)

Below are photos of a project we carried out where we installed all power and data systems through out the space

new power distribution was installed throughout and lighting was installed to the basement office

a full data network was installed including a WiFi mesh network.

SMBS Foods on Lordship Lane Dulwich

This is one of our local clients and also our local fruit and veg source, they asked me to have a look at how their lighting was sighting that they would be refurbishing the shop.

we suggested a mix of lighting to adjust the feel of the shop to be more welcoming and brighter so that products lept out from the shelves.

Led strips were installed to shelving, coloured LED lighting to the serving area and Astro quad spots to the remainder of the shopping area.

in addition a smart System was installed so that the lighting could be easily controlled but also that security aspects could be brought into the system such as roller shutter control and temperature monitoring of the fridges and freezers.

A CCTV system was installed to cover the entire shop and outside a 40 inch monitoring screen was positioned directly opposite the till allowing the staff to watch the shop without having to walk about.
