Help with your project

So its been our experience of maintaining jobs after a brand new installation that things that looked good are not always good!

Examples of such maybe no foresight during the design stage of course you can’t prepare for everything but there are some things that are quite obvious when you have experience of them lacking.

Poor lighting design this is the most obvious but only when its completed! they may have been a qualified electrician but are they qualified lighting designers?

Lack of consideration for longevity and maintenance, this is especially annoying as things should last and do need maintenance.

So what can we do for you?

We offer a start to completion service that includes the following

  1. Installation layout design - this is typically cable topology and circuit design.

  2. Lighting Design - this is probably the 2nd most important part of any project.

  3. Site Visits - Inspecting the work being under taken and confirm ongoing quality control.

  4. Project Logs - Here we can make sure that details of the installation are collected during construction and create a site log containing details of the installation and photos to assist with maintenance.

We start by meeting you and discussing your project and learning about who you are what you want to achieve such as the feel you want when you enter the project.

We will then draw up a plan to the project that includes all the relevant information to allow contractors to quote the works concisely and allow you the client to compare apples with apples.

We we will carry out all the necessary calculations for lighting and power including cable calculations.

We will prepare for compliance with the current building and the requirements for electrical installations BS7671 18th edition 3rd amendment.

We will assist you in appointing a contractor and look through the prices and company who tendered to help you make an informed decision.

once the project is in motion we will make visits to access the ongoing works and use these visits to pre-empt and prevent issues arising during the works or design changes that are beneficial to the you.
