+ Rewires

This service is typically undertaken when the wiring reaches certain age or condition in which it is more economical to completely replace all wiring in the dwelling or building.

A full or partial Re-wire normally consists of replaceing or installaing of new cabling systems in a particulr installation, for sockets or lights, but could also be a data system.

+ Communications Wiring

This is a system - or systems – installed where you have multiple computers that communicate together via a network LAN (a hardwired system whereby computers are networked together and/or connected to the central internet access).

The advantages of computer networking are not commercial only, as some may think: home networks with cloud drives and media access points can connect to a central network in order to increase efficacy of individual connection speeds. It also allows the storage of all files in the household (data, music, pictures) in one safe Media HD box that can be accessed by anyone in the household.

We also install, extend or re-run phone lines.

We install Mainatain Wifi systems installing Mesh wifi networks in both Public, domestic and commercial settings, we also install internet traffic managment sytsems for these WIFI hot spots

+ Lighting Systems

Generally lighting is often over looked when it comes to design which can be fatal to the outcome of the installation it has been my experiance that many assume that you can simply put up lights and thats that all you have to consider is a rough wattage, sadly this is not all that needs to be considered in fact wattage only comes into a lighting design at the energy conseervation stage.

A good lighting designer should consider factors such as the following.......

  1. What needs lighting
  2. The colour of CF Coefficient fcator
  3. The maintenence factor MF
  4. The luman output and the inverse squre rule
  5. Colour redering index
  6. Dimmable or non
  7. Tasks being under taken
  8. Installation loaction
  9. Longevity
  10. Long term life span
  11. Health of the client
  12. energry efficacy Lumens/watt

Emergency Lighting Systems

We Design, install and Maintain emergency lighting systems - generally installed in public spaces – to provide secondary lighting in the event of power failure to the primary lighting sources.

we design and install systems in accordenace with BS5266-1 code of prectice for the emergency lighting of premises witch is the standards for emergency lighting systemms

Outside Amenity Lighting

We install lighting that is provided in communal or outdoor spaces. It can range from security lighting to general amenity lighting - for a car park or block of flats, for instance.

LED Lighting

LED (light-emitting diode) lighting technology has become a very sought after option of lighting and is increasingly seen as the long-term future for lighting.

LEDs have many advantages over incandescent light sources including lower energy consumption, longer lifetime, improved physical robustness, smaller size, and faster switching.

They also have some pitfalls which can’t come unnoticed: LEDs powerful enough for room lighting are still relatively expensive, and require more precise current and heat management than compact fluorescent lamp sources of comparable output. Besides, not all LEDs are the same; Having a specialist help in selecting the right LED, as well as finding the right light rendering colour tone and feel can avoid any surprises.

Torque Electrical offers this specialist consultation for LED lighting systems for you.

+ Home Security Systems

Our homes are very often packed with expensive small technologies such as tablets, laptops and cameras, as well as data sensitive files and items of sentimental value.

As modernity evolves, crimes and burglaries become more advanced. Therefore, security is increasingly becoming of essence and must keep up with the times.

Torque Electrical provides a full security assessment of your home. We install advanced burglar alarm systems that deter criminals from trying to attempt to enter your private property. These systems can be programmed to alert the owner of the attempt and thus give him/her evidence to avoid future reoccurrences.

+ CCTV

We offer best in class CCTV equipment for your property.

CCTV is a security system which allows you to have other sets of eyes helping secure your property.

CCTV is a great security tool and, if installed properly, gives an extra feeling of security – it is a very good criminal determent; Just knowing they are being seen prevents criminals from carrying out their crimes.

It also gives reassurance after incidents, as it allows future playback to give a more accurate detail of incidents to prevent future reoccurrences.

+ Sound and Media Devices

We offer an extensive range of sound and media services, from installing and programming a simple TV set up to more complex installation and setup of speakers around the house, also including:

  • Zoning amps for existing media system connectivity

we offer certifiaction for all the following types of installation

  1. EICR Electrical installation Condition Report also known as perioidic inspection report.
  2. DEIC Domestic electrical installation certificates and Report
  3. EIC electrical installation Certificates and reports
  4. Emergency lighting certification
  5. fire alarm system certifiactes and reports

we also offer a log book creating service in which we supply fill out and maintain log books for the following installations

  1. electrical installation log
  2. disabled toilet alarms log
  3. emergency lighting log
  4. fire alarm log

It normally entails in testing all circuits to confirm the conformity with BS7671 requirements for electrical installations.

Landlords also commonly require an updated electrical certificate of the property. They are normally actioned on a periodic basis – a general domestic property is normally tested every 10 years, depending on the conditions of the installations – or are required by the landlord at every change of occupancy or the yearly noted term on the certificate.

We also provide this service upon completion of certain types or electrical works.

+ Fault Finding

We use testing techniques to locate a fault on your installation and/or with your equipment. This service is very useful for situations that take you by surprise, such as a power outage to the lighting or a potentially burnt equipment.

+ Energy Efficacy Examinations

Efficacy is not only about energy consumption and your monthly bills, but also the life span, down time and maintenance of the installations that can inflict in higher costs in the longer term.

We access your building or house to see where savings can be made in your property. Not just on immediate efficacy, but also regarding the long term life span of existing systems consuming electricity.
